Adventure Racing changed my life!
My first experience was in 1999 and I loved it, but I was a very busy student by that time.
Then, in 2002, I (re)started to race again and since then I’ve competed practically in every Portuguese AR (with some great experiences in Spain also).
Before AR I had a sedentary lifestyle, and now I’m the fittest guy in the neighbourhood! I train several hours per week, I’ve climbed 5000m mountains, I’ve raced MTB Marathons, I’ve ran marathons and I also do some MTB and pedestrian orienteering competitions.
And there isn’t a single day in which I don’t think about the next race in the calendar!
